3 1/2 months into my new life

Hello Folks,
It has been so long since I posted and I thought I would give a quick update
on my progress. Today is 3 1/2 months and I am down a whopping 90 lbs!!
From a 32 to a 20 or 22 jeans (depending on style) and 16 or 18 button down
top!! I am finally starting to see the difference but it took a while.
Still have problems keeping food down a couple of times per week but as time
goes on I am finding what I tolerate and that isn’t changing nearly as often
as it was, for that I am so greatful!!
The best part so far has been realizing two days ago that I feel good about
myself, that I have accomplished something that I didn’t think possible, that
I have my sense of humor back, that I want to go out, that I want to look for
bargains on new clothes (size 20 jeans at Old Navy for $1.99!!) instead of
just paying what was asked because that is what I am used to, that I look for
clothes that fit instead of the largest size to hide in, that I can do 75 sit
ups and only resting once, that I am thinking of me first instead of everyone

else, that I no longer slide the seat back in my car as far as it will go
because my butt and tummy wouldn’t fit!! These are just a few things that I
have noticed in the past couple of days and wow aren’t they wonderful!!
I want to take a second and thank so many of you that have been a source of
constant support, encouragement and wonderful friendship:
Erin Morgan (my beautiful sister!)
Barbara Herrera
Katie Sandaval
Pat Blaney
Mary Cortez
Sue Curran (and all the folks from the Oakland group)
Patty Carlin
Nancy Johnson
Debbie Jeffries
Janet Molinari
Margee Wolosz
All of which have gone out of their way help me through this process!! Thank
you all so much!!
So, I promiss that I will start to post again!

Congrats Jax! One place i buy a lot of clothes is Goodwill. I got a like new
red suede/leather winter jacket there for less than $10. They have lots of
clothes that are in good condition and won’t cost an arm and a leg to buy.
    Have fun shopping!
