Full?
hello,
It is us again. John had his surgury the roux en y on
Jan 7th and he has trouble telling whether he is full,
has gas, or just hurts from the healing or is hungry.
Anyone else having this problem? WOuldn’t he know if
he is overeating. Like i thought I read that he would
throw up if he over eats. IT does not seem like he is
eating much. HE lost 40 pounds first two weeks and
only 6 the last two weeks , we weighed today. Is this
on tract. Dr seemed to think all was okay. Love and
Prayers, Teresa and John THANKS!!

I never throw up when I overeat and my hubby always throws up if he overeats
so I guess it’s just a difference in people. Also, my hubby starts to sneeze
when he’s full and I start to burp…..go figure!…lol. But I couldn’t tell
when I was full very well at first. I had to be very careful. Once I
figured out about how much I could eat comfortably, I would just put that
much on a plate and stop at that. If not I would overeat before I felt full
and would be in pain for a couple of hours. I got better (quick) at telling
when I was full and now it’s no problem. When I started eating solid protein
like chicken, fish, and beef it became much easier. Good luck and I hope
this helped.
