.I Need Your Advice

I had surgery in Tulsa (about 2 1/2 hours away). I went back for my one
month appointment…was made to wait over two hours, then he saw me for a
total of 1 minute and 33 seconds. He didn’t even want to see my incision.
I felt like we were cattle…the lobby was filled with pre’s and post’s and I
received a better education in the waiting room then with him. He asked me
to come back for 3-month bloodwork and I told him I’d do it at home with my
PCP. I’m seven months out and haven’t been back. I don’t know many people
who develop a relationship with their surgeon but maybe under these
circumstances (support, bloodwork..etc) it makes it a different situation.
All I know is if I have a problem, I’ll call my PCP.
