Hi
I had open RNY (Proximal) on July 3, 2001 with 3 hernia repairs
St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio Dr. Richards.
I have lost approx 110 lbs. and feel great.
I take B-12 in the form of nasal spray once a week in each nostril,
I use Viactiv as my calcium(3 times a day)and I take a one a day
Essential multi vitamin. I feel great. I am off all blood
pressure medication.
I have recently pulled another hernia and that is not good however it
is a small inconvenience and I am sure it can be corrected. I have
not even yet notified my surgeon about this predicament. I am not
having any problems with it.

Wondering how others are doing and for those who are longer out if
you have any advice for the future.
