more advice on finding a scale
At the freight offices of the airlines they have large platform scales that
are very accurate to within one pound. I take my dogs there to weight them
all the time (big dogs) and have weighed myself there too. Also the main post
offices usually have them. Swallow your pride and do it..it will be worth it
to know that you have an exact starting weight. And that you will never weigh
that again. Besides, what fun it will be to go back there when you have lost
a bunch!
