Checked on Kara today…..
Went to Sinai today to get my type and cross done, and
stopped in to see Kara. Her Dad and her hubby were
both there, being little angels for her. She was in
some pain. They had tried to get her up this morning
and she was really lightheaded and dizzy and felt
nauseous, so they had given her some ice chips (they
being the nurses). She had a reaction to the morphine
and was itching all over and felt like crap. (She said
that it was every bit as bad as she feared–maybe
worse!!)Anyway, I told her we were all pulling for her
and that she would be fine.
