Age at time of surgery
I had the surgery just this past March 3, 2002, one week shy of my 55th
birthday. I weighed 239 when I was approved for surgery … 278 two days
after surgery following a monumental water weight gain (my legs looked like
tree trunks!).
This morning, the scale says that I weigh 200 lbs. and I actually look
thinner than that. I have my life back. If you can get approval, whatever
your age, go for it!
