Sudden Nausea

Hi,
I had the gastric bypas proximal almost four weeks ago. I have been eating
the same things pretty much for the last two weeks. On Friday I started
getting nauseous every time I eat. Sometimes I vomit but mostly I just wish
I would. I don’t over fill and I haven’t changed anything (been racking my
brain) Is this normal and how long will it last. Also, I have not lost any
weight in two weeks despite barely eating. I am lucky if I get 800 calories
in a day and I only drink water and one protein shake a day. Any ideas?
Thanks for any help!

    Tina,
This is normal and just because you haven’t changed what you’re eating, it
doesn’t mean anything. I kept changing from day to day and week to week about
what made me nauseated. Watch your dairy intake, your fat intake, and sugar
intake. Any of things could be the culprit. Also, it’s normal for your weight
loss to stop. Stay off the scales. I only weighed at the surgeon’s office and
I never knew when I plateaued. If you are following the program you have to lose
weight… it’s that simple. Good luck to you as you continue on this wonderful
    journey!
