I’m so excited!
Tonight we went grocery shopping for the first time since my surgery. I will
admit passing by the sweets and the regular food I used to eat was hard, but
worth it! I used to walk through the store with my husband, then go to the
car and sit while he did the unloading cause I was panting and sweating and
so sore. Today I sent him to the car with my son!!! I made it through the
whole store, I unloaded the cart, loaded them in the car, and put away 1/2,
by then I needed a break lol. I am so excited!!! Even my husband is excited,
he knows how much I used to hate grocery shopping. And I am happy to report
that we used to spend between 300-400 on grocery when we would go and today
it was only 124!!! Just meat and veggies and other necessities. I am so
excited!! I just had to share.

Oh, Julie… your excitement is infectious!! How joyful for you to have
such an early experience of what your life-to-be will look like. I
promise, it only gets better and easier and more fun from here on
out. Sure, there are hardships, but you will NEVER be too tired to shop
unless you have run a marathon first!
Should I tell you that I now spend 4 times (at least) on clothes what I
used to spend on groceries? Nawww. We’ll let you discover that fun for
yourself. *happy wink*
