Barbara’s Cranky post
LOL. I agree with everythng Barbara said in her post save for the “high failure
weight of the agb”. But She is right about the research. Each of us has to be
totally commited to the type of WLS we will be spending the rest of our life
with.
I research for 2 years as well. BMI of 65, paid out of pocket, lurked on lists
etc and I came up with a total different decision then she did. But both were
right.
There is no short cut. You will have to research. Ask your doctor questions and
If you want a specific surgery your insurance does not pay for FIGHT FOR IT!. It
is your body and life and well worth fighting for. Walter Lindstrum at
ObesityLaw .com (He has an RnY) Has helped a lot of individuals fight companys
so that they could get the wls that the knew was correct for them.
I think one thing that both Barbara and I can agree on was that we were both
fighting for our lives when we were doing our research. We listened to both our
heads and our gut feelings when we made our decision. That is how everyone has
to make this decision. After you’ve done the reseach and muddled through the
confusion you will come up with the correct answer FOR YOU.
