protein powder choices and recipes
hello,
First I am going to suggest that you send your replies directly to me. I
don’t want to have too many replies to the list about protein drinks and
such…unless others want to know too. I am still lost here. I have 4
containers of the most disgusting tasting stuff. I would like to hear from
those who have found what they like or even share with me what you hate. I
just need to have something to go on. that stuff is too expensive to keep
experimenting randomly.
If you have some good recipes please share them with me. I try to eat,
but I am not eating enough and I need to get in one…maybe two drinks a day
I would also like to know if anyone has a general ballpark figure about how
much protein we should be getting a day…how much our body absorbs in a
meal. if we eat 20 grams of protein…how much of that is absorbed???All of
it ?? or part of it?
Also I remember someone told me that we should not eat more than 16 grams
of sugar…I have tried to make sure that everything is under that. Does
anyone else have an idea. It is really hard to find juice that I don’t have
to water half and half to be able to drink it. How do you all deal with the
juice issue?
I would also like to have some pumpkin pie this Thanksgiving…Starbuck’s
make a great pumpkin latte…I was hoping to create a protein drink with
pumpkin and decaffeinated coffee…anyone have any ideas
