Help - I have fallen off the wagon!!!!!
Hi all
I am almost 4 months out and feel as if I have fallen off the wagon -
my stress level has been so high lately due to issues with my kids -
too long of a story to go into but one is sick, one is in the
hospital and the last is on its way to being sick too -
So with all this halloween candy so ready available - I am stealing
some - I usually dont even eat candy -and to a certain extent I wish
I would dump - because then I wouldn t rush to the chocolate -
I feel as if I have gained weight but have not weighed my self - I
plan on dumping the rest of the candy tonight - my kids are not
eating it - so its there for me to dip into - I hate this -
I need some advice on what to do to deal with this stress - I am
seeing my therapist tommorrow - she is very good - and specializes in
eating disorders….
anyway any help would be appreciated

Betsey, Take a deep breath and, stop beating yourself up.I am 4 months postop
also.I dont have kids let alone sick ones.Thats enough to makeany one turn to
our past bad choices ,choc. in particular. It is a knowncomfort food,.FORANYONE.I
had a bag of choc chips before surgery.I was gonna make my husband some
cookies.Well I NEVER MADE THE COOKIES and there are only a hand ful left in the
bag.Guess where they went? I managed to consume all of them over the last
couple months.Your not the only one, we all fall of the wagon and Iam sure there
will still be apiece of pie or cake or candy that will now and then make it into
our mouths.Tomorrow we try harder.I lost 98lb. and that elusive 2 more lbs is no
where near coming off.Only 1/2 pound in 2 weeks.I hate myself too for the piece
of pumkin pie I had. If you have to, throw the candy outFrom: betseyo2002
ANOTHER DAY, better choices.Hope your kids get well.Write me back let me know
how your doin.Sharon in Mi.
