I dont think anyone could have been more nervous than me. I even had a
surgery date and chickened out at the LAST minute. Then after 4 months I was
rescheduled and had the surgery 9/10. I have 2 children and felt if I didnt
make it….. But I knew that this was my only chance to have a life again.
Living to eat was no life and it was killing me. I told my husband and my
kids all that they meant to me. I asked my sisters to be there for my kids if
something happened. I knew this was a risk worth taking. Surgery has the same
risks as a C-section and I already had one of those. Read the profiles, look
at the before and after and think positive. The surgery for me was a BREEZE.
I have lost 50 lbs. at 9 weeks and no more high blood pressure meds, high
cholesterol meds. No more stress incontinence, Jeez the list already goes on
and on. I will keep you in my prayers and keep us updated. The time flies by.
