plateau so early

I am almost 3 weeks post op and have hit a plateau. I lost 22lbs in
the first two weeks, but I have not lost a pound since then. I even
regained 1 pound. I am wondering if it is normal to reach a plateau
so early. I think I have been eating right, I have started walking 15
to 20 mins a day and spend most of my day out doing errands. If
anyone has any thoughts on this please let me know.

yes it is normal to reach a plateau. Yes it is normal to regain a pound. How
often are you weighing because it seems like you are weighing FAR TOO OFTEN
for the first year postop. During that time you should only weigh at the
surgeon’s office. You do not need to weigh any more often than that because
it will only drive you crazy. Weight fluctuates by as much as five to ten
pounds A DAY! You do not need to drive yourself that crazy by weighing
constantly. Rather stick the program and take measurements of yourself. As
the scale fluctuates you should notice you are losing inches over time –
    especially as you exercise.
