My Sister was an Type 1 She has been an diabetic for about 20 years she had RNY
back in 2001 She was what one called a uncontrolable Diabetic she took over 300
units a day her body had a tolerance for insulin. The last shot my sister has
taken was the night before her RNY she has yet taken another. She went on
Glofauge(sp) shortly after surgery. She is now off that (17 months out). She is
doing fine. She has yet to bottom out and she hasn’t had anymore high blood
sugars. She did have sugars that ran in the 600 on a daily basics. Hope this
