		<description>Hello efuller@...,
In reference to your comment:
è I would like to get some feedback on how much you
è can usually eat about 6 weeks after surgery. How
è much does your doctor tell you that you can eat? How
è much is "pushing it"?
At six weeks I was just starting to eat chewable food, and was eating mostly
soft foods. It's not what your doctor tells you, it's what your stomach
tells you. If you eat slowly, you'll know when you've had enough.

		<description>Ellie,
Everyone is different. At 6 weeks my surgeon had me on liquids/purees still so
I could eat a fair amount of that. When I started introducing protein at 8
weeks I was satisfied with a few bites.
I am 4.5 months now and can eat 1/2 a chicken breast and a few veggies for a
meal. I eat fruit for snacks. On occasion I will eat something carby like a few
chips, popcorn or a couple of bites of a cookie. Sugar free popsicles are still
one of my favorites.
