Hello tlblosser@…,
In reference to your comment:
è As for the gas pains that some have talked about and
è knowing that they had a LAP RNY, wouldn’t that be
è indicative that the gas pains could be partly attributed
è to the gas that they insert into the abdominal cavity so
è that they can work on you? As for the Country Buffet,
è why would one want to subject themselves to the “hog
è trough” after having the type of surgery that we have
è had? The very reason we had this surgery was to be
è able to lose weight and KEEP IT OFF. I’m not
è advocating the fact that we stay away from restaurants,
è but a “buffet” place? It just seems to stand the reason
è why we need to avoid places such as those, because,
è for the most part, people go to buffet lines to get

è “stuffed”.
Yes, I had a lap procedure, and that’s the gas I was talking about. The
body working to get rid of the gas from the surgery, not gas from eating.
And I agree with you about the buffet. The only exceptions to that for me is
the Chinese buffet and salad bars near my office, where you pay by the pound.
I can take exactly the amount I want and I only pay for what I take. Even
then, I often end up taking more than I can eat. My eyes and my stomach
still aren’t in sync all the time.
