About Juice…..

I am sorry, I may have not been clear in my post. I originally posted about
something and had a reply about juice in my post-op diet.
I am 7 days post-op and my daily diet consist of 1/3 cup of clear broth, 1/3 cup
of lite juice - total sugar per serving is 3 grams - and 1/3 cup of Jell. This
meal is repeated 3 times daily in addition to 3 protein shakes and water,
fruit-2-o, SF pops….etc.
This is my week one diet. The juice is probably the only thing I am getting
other than the protein shakes that gives me any type of calorie at all. With a
total of 9 grams of sugar per day, I wouldn’t think I have anything to worry
about.
I am sorry, it seems that most of the posts refer to the question as drinking
juice as a source of liquids for the day. This is part of my meal plan and is
only for one week weaning out the juice as soft protein foods are incorporated.
I am having my first egg tomorrow, I can’t wait! Who would have thought that an
egg would sound SOOO good :)
Sorry for any confusion. I am well aware that juice in quantity is not a good
choice for everyday consumption. Thanks so much for all of the responses
because if I didn’t know, I would now and that is what the list is for :) One week post-op today
