For all State of Oregon Employees

please email me directly and DO NOT post them on the list. I want to
respect the lists rules on Insurance posts, but this is more of a call
to arms for Oregon posters.
Got this today from our Human Resources department. If you are an
employee of the State of Oregon or the Oregon Higher Education System,
please, please, PLEASE consider attending either the meeting at the
State Capitol or one of the meetings in the other locations. This is
where we put our mouth where our mouth is people—by that I mean, this
is your opportunity to speak directly to the Public Employees Benefit
Board and let them know how much we NEED coverage of WLS and treatment
of Morbid Obesity in our Insurance packet. They are deciding what
packages to offer us next year, so we have the power by sheer number to
sway them IF we show up and speak. We could really make a difference for
everybody in Oregon who needs WLS if we start here, so whether you favor
the LapBand, the RNY or the DS–or any other treatment beyond
surgery–please show up and let your voice be heard!!!
