First meal of the day
Does anyone else find the first meal of the day repulsive? I’m about 2 1/2
mos. out, and find that the first is always the worst. Nothing sounds
appealing, and I seem to have to force it down. On top of that, it seems
that my stomach hates the first meal, too. I don’t vomit or get sick, it
just acts kinda cranky.
I saw a Campbells soup commercial last night and almost had to head
for the bathroom. I used to be a fan of cream soups, and now, they are
disgusting to me. I’d never been as affected by a commercial before.
Strange….
Take care,

I rarely eat anything first thing in the morning; I usually wait an hour or so.
Usually I’m just not hungry till then.

I don’t eat breakfast. I have no craving for it, nor the desire to eat. First
time I eat in a day is usually about 11am and I get up at 5am. On the weekends
when I get up around 7-8am, I eat about Noon or 1pm.
I drink my warm liquids in the am (coffee or decaf tea) then start on my water.
It isn’t until I have gotten about 20 ounces of water down that I actually get
hungry and food is appealing. Everyone is different, and everyones surgeon has a
different eating plan. My surgeon believes you eat when you are hungry, not on
scheduled times, and that works great for my body. My suggestion,IMHO, don’t eat
until you are hungry. Forcing food down doesn’t do you any good.
