tell me how
Hi I went to my doctor Friday and she said she had just seen a patient who
had wls the last week of Dec. and has lost 90lbs. My mind cannot even
comprehend what that must feel like. How does your mind get around losing
that much weight that fast? When you look in the mirror are you shocked that
your looking at yourself? I would love to hear some of your stories of your
own reaction to your new body.

Understand that not everyone loses that quickly. Heck very very FEW people
lose that much that soon. Those that due either have a few problems (may be
as slight as an infection or thrush), have a lot of weight to lose (300
pounds overweight maybe) or something of that nature. It would be hard to
wrap your head around that — I lost 100 pounds in three months and it took
a while. Sometimes now i still don’t get it. And I am heading on to five
years out. It is an interesting journey and everyone copes differently but
sometimes you need a little nudge/help. Don’t expect such fast results
though. Enjoy however quickly your journey goes and savor every moment.

Hi
I had open rny on jan 29 2003. I have lost
over 60lb in 30 days.
It is Amazing, Exciting, Alarming!
I am seeing ankle and wrist bones I haven’t seen in 20 years. I have to buy new
clothes already, I’m falling out of all my old skinny jeans. I do get tired
easily, But rebound quickly.
Less arthritis pain.
It doesn’t seem real, I keep waiting for something bad to happen. Will all my
hair will fall out, vitamin/malnutrition problems, regain everything.?
I don’t feel like I deserve this. I haven’t paid (suffered) for this. A few days
of vomiting…I am getting used to that training tool.
But bottom line, It feels great.I want to continue,
Be at goal in 3 months!
But I am realistic It must slow down.
Thanks Marci
