First and foremost, I could not have gotten where I am, without you guys……..

My surgery was Nov 7th 2002. I had an open rny with band. I reached my first
goal. Yea,…ME. I started at 312.6 and am today at 212. My next goal is 200
and then 160. This has been an incredible journey…….one well worth taking.
My quality of life is……quality now. Before surgery, I was a lump….unable
to move much because of degenerative joint disease. This weekend I finished
landscaping my yard…..building flowerbeds…..tree beds……..and moving all
that dirt. WHOO HOO!!
Thanks for you your input guys. I live in Wichita, KS and there is not a
support group here……..nor anyone else that I know of that has had the
surgery. You guys have been very informative and helpful in my attaining my
first goal.
