<description>You can have a firm belly of muscles underneath, but the skin isn't a
muscle. You can't tone it with exercises.
It all really falls back on genetics. How long have you been overweight?
How much have you yo-yo'd throughout your life? What kind of elasticity is
left in your skin? What kind of skin do you have?
I am 27 years old, and started my WLS journey at 330 lbs 17 months ago. I
have, since the about age of about 6 or 7, been morbidly obese. I have very
fair skin, with little remaining elasticity in it. I have to date lost
 176.5 pounds.
2 months ago had a Lower body lift. There was NO way NO how that the skin I
had hanging was ever going away. My plastic surgeon removed 6 pounds of
skin; *Skin*. The layer of fat I had was minimal. I worked out 5 days a
week, with weights 3 times and Cardio every day. I also did Yoga/Pilates
 once a week.
I'm now maintaining at 6 pounds under my overall body weight goal, and have
 &lt;!--more--&gt;
 about 21% body fat.
So, for you, it's quite possible that you will be happy once you reach your
goal without having to go the route of plastic surgery. We all have
different levels of tolerance, different genetics and our bodies will all be
 different.
