gallbladder and hair loss

Hi everyone,
I have a couple of questions. My doctor mentioned about taking my gallbladder
out at the same time as he does the surgery in October. He said that some times
people will develop gall stones after the WLS.
I told my daughter and she became real upset saying that I needed it to store
bile. She went on to say that I shouldn’t have anything done other than what I
needed. Can anyone comment on this. Is it a normal procedure to have the
gallbladder removed with WLS?
Also someone had mentioned hair loss and what to use to prevent it from
becoming extreme. I wrote the product name down but can’t for the life of me
find it. Can someone please refresh my memory.
Thank you
Marie

    Marie,
I had my gall bladder removed with my gastric bypass surgery and I haven’t
had any problems. A lot of people experiance problems with their gall
bladder due to rapid weight loss and end up having their gall bladder
    removed anyway.
Is the product name you’re looking for called Nioxin? Or are thinking about
    the suppliment called biotin?
    HTH,
    Mary
