Did ya hear me?

Okay … Walking week 2 day two.
Goal for the day according to the program was to walk a mile in 18 minutes. 1
mile. 18 minutes.
Walked the one mile. (As I side note I know why I have felt bloated and fat –
my period started today — which also explains the craving for chocolate and why
I no longer want anythign chocolate). Hopefully I will start losing again if i
keep up the walking. Anyway I walked the one mile.
Last week when I started it took me over 22 minutes to walk a mile. Today I
walked it in — DRUM ROLL please! — 14:44 … 14 minutes and 44 seconds. Of
course this was not like walking. It was more like running with my short little
legs. I promptly collapsed at the 15 minute mark — not collapsed but more like
slowed down, walked over to the bed and fell over. I am sweating like a pig and
I have (and had) the air conditioning running the entire time. How can anyone
say that pace is WALKING? I was jogging for most of it. But I did it. I BROKE
THE 15 MINUTE MILE! WHich for me — lets just say I am extremely freaking proud

of myself. COnsidering I am so out of shape it is not even funny. Now to get the
eating back under control.
Oh and tomorrow is supposed to be no structured walk and thursday is two miles.
But since I have bowling on Thursday and won’t be home between work and that I
think I may flip flop them.
