		<description>I lost 12kg (over 24lb) following Atkins, over a 3 week period. I have
even managed to keep it off, however I simply couldn't maintain the
Atkins way of life (I found myself developing a passionate aversion to
eggs and cheese after a few weeks;) If I ate meat I think it'd be a
dream way of eating!
For my part: I ate onions, tomatoes, carrots and other veges purported
to be high in carbs .. and the weight melted off me. So I wouldn't warn
anyone off these foods, however for those who are counting carbs I do
suggest you look at the carb content of all foods as you'll be surprised
sometimes by what you see!
I hope I'm allowed to post this on here - those who want to see what
carbs you're consuming can go to www.atkinscenter.com and look up "carb
counter", if I recall correctly, its on the lefthand side of the main
