Carbs / Veggies / Dilemma
Just a few words. Processed/Refined carbs. Unprocessed/Unrefined
carbs. Moderation. One of the things that worked for me was NO
Processed/Refined carbs and MODERATION of natural Unprocessed/Unrefined
carbs. Just something to think about.

I don’t think many veggies are laden with carbs but certainly some of them to
have a quite a few.
We have to eat something and I do not recall being told I had to eliminate carbs
from my diet.
I think the focus needs to be on limiting refined carbs like the ones in most
breads, cakes, cookies, etc.
We need fruits and veggies and the latest articles I have read suggest people
are not eating any where near enough. At some point we need to learn to eat a
healthy diet.
I know brandy new post ops need to be extra careful, but I never dumped on fruit
(never eat bananas). I did however dump on peanut butter, cheese, a 1/2 piece
of bread, a cookie at 6 months and a couple of other items I ate because I was
out and there were no good food choices.
Dumping for me included vomiting, and being so tired I couldn’t keep my eyes
open. I was careful.
