Does size matter?
Hi,
Of course, I’m referring to pouch size and size of bypass in a Lap RNY. I
had the final (before surgery) meeting with my surgeon today. He told me my
pouch would be 1 to 2 ounces and the bypass would be 150 cc. Can anyone tell
me if this is small, medium, large, average, etc.? I thought the pouch
sounded a little large, but I was pleased that the bypass sounded a little
long. My doctor said they really don’t know if the length of the bypass
makes much difference. He said people with 50 cc or 100 cc often lose just
as much as someone with 150 cc bypassed. So, does size really matter?
Thanks! Sherry
