gas and sugars

i was thinking back about 2 yrs and remember that artificial sweeteners made me
sick. i still stay away from them and use raw sugar in small amounts with no
effect. i also had some tummy troubles with nonfat and lowfat dairy products. i
was told to be on a lowfat diet initially after my surgery but it never worked
for me. i ate small amounts of full fat cheese and other dairy products and 1/2
and 1/2 in my coffee and ended up losing all my overweight and stopped having
gas and bellyaches. i maintain my goal weight eating all that stuff so it might
be worth a try to eat a little regular cheese and see if it works better than
the low fat versions. it seems there is a higher percentage of milk sugars in
skim products than in the full fat varieties.
