better day

Hi all,
I am doing a little better. I think the two lbs gain was fluid retention
becuase the V-8 is very high in sodium, so I cut it down to just first thing
in the morning to get my blood sugar up. My DH went to town to get me the
low sodium version of it for me. He is such a sweetie.
One of the two lbs came off, but I know the weight is reducing because I was
able to cross my legs at the knee yesterday, something I haven’t been able
to do for over four years. Another milestone!
I’ve added carrots and broccoli to my daily diet, pureed of course. I did
have to reduce the protein at the meal, but I do love my veggies.
I dug out my old Richard Simmons tapes yesterday and my free weights. Once I
get myself regulated after I go back to work, I can change my routine of
exercise between the treadmill and non-impact aerobics. I have a couple of
his tapes and I do like the music in them. He’s such a nut case, but he has
done wonders with people.

I do have a question……does anyone else have a lot of burping? Every time
I eat or drink anything, I burp one or two large burps. I am very careful to
take very small bites and I chew even the most pureed foods before I swallow
so I wonder where the gas is coming from. Anyone else have this?
