SEX PROBLEMS
I’M GLAD SOMEONE BROUGHT UP THE SUBJECT. I HAVE NO DESIRE TO HAVE
SEX. I AM 10 MONTHS POST-OP. IT DOESN’T INTEREST ME IN THE LEAST. I
HAVE A WONDERFUL PARTNER AND HE SAYS HE CAN WAIT, BUT I KNOW IT IS
HARD FOR HIM. I’VE BEEN TO THE DOCTOR AND HE SAYS I’M FINE. NO
MEDICAL PROBLEMS. HE EVEN SAID MY HORMONE PILL SHOULD HELP INCREASE
MY DESIRE BUT IT HASN’T.. IT’S NICE TO KNOW I’M NOT WEIRD OR ALONE
FEELING THIS WAY.

Boy I am so glad someone brought this all up, I 15 months post-op & I still
dont want sex I am even 2 months post-op from a tummy tuck & mons surgery
too,… & I dont want no part of it,… Yes my hubby is getting alittle upset
over this, it has been one excuse after another for me, I just dont care to have
it anymore,… I thought once I got the tummy done that would change my whole
out look buy it didnt & I still dont want any part of sex… I went to my GYN
too & he says he could be a hormone thing since I dont have my ovaried but I do
still have my uterus… well I dont know what to think I just dont thing about
sex I do know that & I avoid the subject as much as possible too, & I am still
sleeping on my couch because I still am unable to lay flat down after my tummy
tuck too but I know soon hubby will think of a reason to get me back in our bed
& I just dont wanna… HELP!!! What the heck is the problem I thought once we
would lose all this weight & feel sexier none of us
would have this problem… SEX is now like a dirty word to me, & it is like
dont say it or use it around me either…
I dont know what else to think, I just give up on the subject & try to ignore it
all…
thanks for listening …

I too have been having this problem. I also have a wonderful partner who is
very patient, but I feel bad about it. I have been trying the advice of someone
on here (sorry I can’t remember who said it) that the more you have, the more
you want. I have been trying that, and it seems to be working. I haven’t had
my hormone levels checked, and I am only 36. I think I am so busy running all
day with my kids, that I am worn out. But, I have never, even when overweight
had this problem so bad. I am 10 months out as well, maybe it is just
temporary, I hope so and so does my husband. I really thought once I was
thinner and had more energy, things would go back to like they were 10 years ago
when we were first together. Maybe that will happen!
