Subject: choking question
I have a question: Can posties have the Heimlich (sp?) maneuver done
without damage to the pouch? If not, what do we do if we are choking?

Sure we can nona !!!!
the heimlich manuever works because it forces the diaphragm up to
push air out of the lungs and thru the trachea (windpipe )to
dislodge whatever is there. The amount of pressure that is used
isnt really anough to hurt the pouch and lets face it …. given
the choice …. to die by choking or risk some discomfort in my
tummy .. i will take the discomfort every time !!!!
i want to live to enjoy this new body of mine !!!
