Question about hunger and irritablility

I am new to this and still in the question phase. I have never seen
anyone discuss hunger and feeling anxious. When I have not eaten for
a while I get irritable. Once I eat I feel fine. What happens to
these feelings and feeling hungery long term after surgery?

The first year out, I barely thought about food. Now, it is the same as it was
pre-op except that I feed my anxiety with protein shakes instead of food most of
the time and that usually works. Regular exercise honestly helps with the
anxiety too. Enjoy that first year.

I would be interested in this answer as well, I am
the same way. And, first thing in the morning, if
I don’t eat with the first hour of waking, i’m very
testy and a bit anxious. I too am in the “finding
out” stage and am hoping to have the surgery. I also
feel crappy and sometimes anxious from too much
    sugar..
