<description>With me, it was after the RnY. I can't go on my own either. So, now I take two
things: Zelnorm, 6mgs twice a day, and 5 or 6 tabs of magnesium citrate at
night, around 4pm. I go like clockwork. It's a loose stool, but at least I go
 daily now.

Hi. Long story but I will try to keep it short...
 Open R-NY - 05/07/2001
 lost 110lbs
 Baby -- gained 48lbs
 C-section 8/03
 Groin Hernia following c-section
 Lost 35lbs
 Groin Hernia fixed lap 10/04
Following the Hernia surgery I have been unable to produce a BM on my
 &lt;!--more--&gt;
own. I have to take daily stool softners and stimulant lax. Thought
it was because of the surgery bumping my bowels around and it would
 settle down....
12/04 -- New Groin Hernia (tear under the bottom of the mesh of the
 10/04 repair)
Prior to the groin hernia surgery my bowels were "normal". I had my
ups and downs... I still dumped if I ate something too sweet, etc.
The doctors have done the barium test and a CAT scan and say they
 don't see anything wrong....
Question for the group is: Has anyone else experienced anything like
 this??
 Thanks for your time....
