I’d like to hear some replies on that one, too, as I know I can eat way too much
food at a meal than I should.

Along my journey of almost 3 years out I have heard that the amount of food you
are able to eat doesn’t matter, it”s what you eat. Pouches regrow somewhat and
you’ll see as time passes that you’ll be able to eat more than when you started.
Now we need to make wiser choices, as our issues with weight gaining will never
be over; this is a never ending story.
I lost 200# in my first eighteen months , then I gained back 10. I am very happy
with what I have accomplished and how I feel and look now, but I need to work
hard to keep this weight. I haven’t eaten sugar since my surgery because that
was my downfall; glad I haven’t opened that door because I could have gained 30
    instead.
To restart your weight loss you’ll need to go back to basics, avoiding carbs as
    possible.
    Do your best; it pays.
    Love,
    Helen

I know a lot of post ops who shrink their pouch back some. They go back to
liquids only for a couple days then soft foods, just like when a new post op.
After a week of eating like this they cannot comsume the quantities they did
before and now can be very careful of the amounts they eat so it doesn’t happen
again. I’ve done it and after a couple days of liquids only, I can eat way less
solid food than I did before. It works for many, so try it and see if it does
for you. Then keep portions small so you don’t have to worry about eating too
    much per serving again.
