We found out we are having a baby…
It’s been a full year and a month since my surgery….
We are happy because we have never been able to have children, but
have always wanted to have some. We are extremely worried though.
There is so much going on in my life and I just have to rant and
rave somewhere. We are currently stationed in Germany. The
military clinic has refered me to see a doctor on the economy (a
German doctor). My husband is being deployed to Iraq in October. I
just don’t know what to do. When he leaves I will be left here
alone for the duration of my pregnancy and possibly my delivery if
he can’t get R n R for when we expect the baby. Aside from having
had the gastric by pass a year ago; I’m also diabetic. My family
wants me to go home to the states right after my husband leaves.
I’m worried that we will lose housing and thus, I will have to stay
stateside until after he finishes his tour in Iraq, but also here in

died on Saturday.
David Lange had very public obesity surgery while Prime Minister. For
me, and probably for a number of others, his example helped form our
decision to have surgery.

I’m wondering out of everyone out there has anyone lost too much weight? On
Friday I had a PCC line inserted for nutrients and when I gain weight my
doctor is going to go back in and revise the connection between my pouch and
bowel.
During an EGD (also done Friday) he tried to dialate the area and it kept
going back to a very small opening. It wouldn’t stay dialated. Anyone else
facing this or have faced it?

I went to my doctor and had my 1 month blood test doen will know next
week the results. My doctor told me I am not taking enough B12 and
Calsume so I bought some there today.
I also went to WLS protein place in Seattle and spent $150.00 on
protein and vitamins today. I sure sample so many products today. That
sure safed on shipping cost. This product should last a while since I
only do right now 1/2 cup of protein at a time that all my poch can
hold in pureed stage.
Please could anybody tell me what Fiber is good to use I need it in a
bad way?
I found out afterwards that Bananas clog you up. What else clog you up?

I weigh myself this morning and I lost more weight.
I lost 14 pounds and my total weight loss is 64.4
This weight loss is since July 12, 05 of my surgery.
I started at 466.9 and now I am down to 402.5.

I am 4 years out from open RNY. I am relocating to Farmington NM and
was wondering where the closest surgeons are that do bariatric surgery

BlankMy PCP called me last night.
He had received a Purolated letter from OHIP.
My consult has been approved.
He read the letter to me & said I could pick it up today.
He wanted me to know that the “okay” was only good for 6 months though.
Not to worry!!!!
My consult appointment is next Tuesday (August 9th).
I am so excited!!!!

I am trying to stick to KarenB’s timer plan but having trouble with
what to eat for my 1-3 oz. of protein and how and what to eat for
dinner.
So I am asking if there is anyone out there that has their meal plan
for 1-5 days maybe stored in their computer so I could look at it and
get some ideas from it… I am very bad with meal planning and I have
gained back 15lbs. Never got to goal. I am almast 3 yrs. out I am a
transected lap Rny. 100cm bypassed.
Could someone please share their meal plans with me so I can get back
on track.
