Ferritin dropping FAST after IV Infusion
I had a ferritin of 10 before my infusion. (1,200 mgs of InFeD)
After five weeks it went up to Ferritin 248.6
After another four weeks it has dropped to 126.3. It is within the
normal range (13-150), but of course I am very concerned. It is
dropping so
fast. I do feel so much better since the infusion. I had some other
numbers that were low:
RBC 3.93
HCT 35.7
MPV 6.8
My B12 was fine at 915. My PLT CNT was 357.
I don’t see my doctor until November. I am actually seeking a new
PCP. He is not much help. I would appreciate your help. Thanks
