I’ve been a silent member since I was accepted into our bariatric
program.
Just wanted to let you know how important your posts have been. You
have provided me with insights and knowledge that have made my
clinic visits easier, bariatric classes more entertaining, and home
preparation less stressful.
Through you, I have been able to plan.
When you mentioned how upsetting it was to have a family member help
in the bathroom, it pointed me to find a ‘toilet aid’ that allows
people to wipe themselves.
When you mentioned the problems with using the recliner when
released home, the local hardware store helped me make handle
extentions for the recliner lever.
When you mentioned the mistakes you made and others helped you find
the better answers, you saved me from making the same mistakes.
I only hope that I can be as successful as you have prepared me to
be.
