Revision of RNY?
Hi there, everyone!
Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it. And Happy Hanukkah to
those who celebrate that. All the rest, hope you’re doing well.
I have a question of those on the List who have investigated and/or
undergone a revision of their RNY surgery. What were the criteria
your revision surgeon required? I keep thinking I may have to jump
through some hoops. My insurance has changed a few times so don’t
know how the new insurance will handle this type of proposed
procedure.
My surgery was May 1, 1997 and I started at 386. I initially lost
about 200 pounds. However, I drank so much beer that I gained a
whole bunch back. And I rarely (if ever) exercise at this time.
Would the new surgeon have a requirement of a certain time period of
sobriety and some type of commitment to exercise?
Anyone try the Wish Center? How did that go? Anyone try a hypnotist?
I noticed the OSSG-Revision group is not active, so I thought I’d
see what the OSSG Listers had to say.
I must go wrap about 47 presents for the nieces and nephews. Thanks
so much for any info and/or insight you all can give.
